Old Horse Stable at Grand Village Resort & Spa Weissenhaus, Baltic Sea, Germany
The former coach house, carefully renovated by the interior designers Korb, serves as an event building for the adjacent hotel resort Weissenhaus Grand Village Resort & Spa am Meer. Licht 01 was entrusted with the lighting design.
Seminar and conference rooms in different sizes are connected by a longish prefunction area with a lounge zone. A specially developed pendant lighting system connects the areas and blends in discreetly with the existing building. The cylindrical luminaire bodies have a direct indirect beam and are connected to a filigree support tube.
The components can be switched independently and allow the setting of differentiated lighting scenarios for various requirements. The masonry walls and wooden beam ceilings are emphasized and atmospherically effective.
