Here’s where we’re heading at: updates of ongoing projects, our team’s personal selection and what is recently on our design board – and from M.Bassy, our supported and cherished social-cultural project.

Project: Central Business Tower

52 Floors – CBT Frankfurt

In Frankfurt’s banking district, the Central Business Tower is rising to a height of 205 metres. The building is composed of two volumes connected by a glass joint.

Its base is formed by a Neo-Renaissance bank building – one of the few remaining historicist structures featuring its original banking hall, a rotunda, and a glass dome.

Where old and new meet, a lobby approximately 17 metres high opens up. In this area, as well as on the lower floors, public use is planned – including a museum, restaurants, and a passageway connecting Neue Mainzer Straße with the green Taunusanlage park.

The CBT will be the only high-rise in Frankfurt to feature a large-scale photovoltaic system integrated into its glass-and-metal façade. Operable façade panels will also allow for natural ventilation of the office spaces.

We are delighted to be part of this ambitious project and are planning the following areas using BIM methodology: the lobby, main hall, lift landings, staff restaurant, connections between the historic and new buildings, all public areas, the historic rotunda with glass dome, façade lighting, and landscape design.
