The traditional Atlantic Hotel, an icon in the heart of Hamburg, has been extensively renovated. Our lighting concept for all public areas takes into account the historical features in order to preserve the exclusive atmosphere.

New and historical lighting elements were combined and targeted eye-catchers were created. For example, we integrated new light coves into the existing ceiling structure of the lobby and directional, glare-free spotlights that accentuate the reception furniture and zone the entrance hall.
Coordinating the lighting atmosphere and setting the lighting scenes for the very different hotel areas was a complex task. Colour temperature and light intensity were precisely adapted to the course of the day. The historic rooms of the "Atlantic" are now at the state of the art in lighting technology. They have been shining in luxurious splendour since 1909.
