Kiel University of Applied Sciences – new building for Civil Engineering and Architecture degree programmes
An exciting, forward-looking project. We are delighted with the commission! Licht 01 is planning the public areas: Foyer, atrium, lecture theatres, project rooms, arcades, roof garden and outdoor areas.
DFZ Architekten designed a flexible and future-proof building that offers communication-enhancing and adaptable teaching, learning and working environments while also meeting high sustainable quality standards.
The three-storey hybrid building with a supporting structure of timber-concrete composite ceilings in combination with timber construction wall elements also features open room structures and visible load-bearing structures on the inside.
Completion expected at the end of 2027.
